Website Terms of Use — BeYouTee

1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of the website beyoutee.store (the “Site”), operated by Sebastien Seraphin, a sole proprietor, under the name BeYouTee (“BeYouTee”). The Site presents BeYouTee’s website design services and allows you to contact it. By using the Site, you accept these terms.
2. Services and displayed prices
The Site describes the services offered by BeYouTee and their prices (for example, a base package of CAD $250 for building the site + options, no mandatory subscription). BeYouTee will not charge a price higher than the advertised price for a service. The details of a project (pages, options, schedule) are confirmed in a written contract signed with each client, which cannot reduce what the Site advertises. BeYouTee may update its offer; an update does not change a contract already entered into.
3. Intellectual property
The content of the Site (text, design, BeYouTee logo, code) belongs to Sebastien Seraphin (BeYouTee) or to third parties who have authorized its use. The demonstration templates shown on the Site are design examples and do not represent real clients. The files of a website delivered to a client belong to that client, who may modify them freely. You may view the Site and print pages for your personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse its content for commercial purposes without written authorization.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Site or its form to send spam, illegal, defamatory or malicious content, to attempt to access the Site or its systems without authorization, or to interfere with its operation.
5. Informational content
The information published on the Site (tips, examples, articles) is general in nature and does not constitute legal or technical advice tailored to your situation. BeYouTee endeavours to keep it accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee that the Site will be error-free or accessible without interruption. This clause does not limit the warranties provided by law, nor the binding nature, for BeYouTee, of what it advertises about its services.
6. Links to other sites
The Site contains links to third-party sites and services (including Instagram). BeYouTee does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content or their personal information practices, which are governed by their own terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by the law applicable in Quebec, BeYouTee is not liable for damages resulting from: an interruption of the Site caused by a third party (host, Internet provider); a virus or an attack that is not the result of its fault; your use of the general information on the Site; or the content of third-party sites. These limits never apply in the case of intentional fault or gross fault, nor to bodily or moral injury (article 1474 of the Civil Code of Québec). If you are a consumer, they in no way limit the rights granted to you by the Consumer Protection Act, and BeYouTee remains liable for the consequences of its own acts (section 10 of that Act).
8. Personal information
The collection and use of your personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes
BeYouTee may change these terms. The version in force, with its date, is published on the Site and applies to your use of the Site from the time of its publication.
10. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of Quebec, subject to a consumer’s right to bring the matter before the court that the law allows them to choose. Nothing requires a consumer to resort to arbitration or restricts their right to take legal action.
11. Language
These terms are written in French. An English translation is provided for information only; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails, unless an interpretation more favourable to the consumer is required by law.
